Rather, you need to seriously give a thought about your child’s passion to be converted into his career.

Which is why we have come up with 8 signs that predict your child might be a born athletic:

Sense of balance

What’s balance? An ability to stay in control of your body movements. It is one of the most important skills for an athlete. Suppose, a soccer player sprinting down the field while also dribbling the ball. He needs to have a great balance in order to stay in control of his body and move swiftly in between other players. Once baby starts moving around their own, you can easily guess whether they have a good balance or not. You can also check how much time your baby take to get up on their knees & stay there or when did they start pulling objects by own? Did standing up come easily to them or took time?

All round coordination:

Another great sign that indicates that your child will be grown as an athlete is its exceptionally coordinated body. Coordination helps athletes perform well. Some might say it’s a necessary skill to become an athlete. For instance: A basketball player will only be able to dribble the ball and run at the same time while also looking forward to their next pass. A gymnast requires different kinds of coordination to be able to pull off the tricks they do while being in the air half the time. Similarly, in cricket, an athlete needs to have a great eye and hands coordination, so that he can decide the shot seeing the ball.Your kid may show coordination skills on an early stage. Signs or coordination include: a kid can take different postures quickly, pushes up things, lifts few light things easily, eats/drinks by own, without wasting a lot. He quickly picks up the toy, can assemble parts easily, loves walking around rather than sitting on your lap etc.

Leadership qualities:

There can be different signs that prove your child has an immense amount of leadership skills. For instance:  He is willing to share toys among friends. Every evening, he takes the initiative to gather friends to play. He loves to be the captain while playing the sport. Another tale of leadership in a kid can be seen is if he likes to dabble in a variety of activities. He not only loves blocking games, but he also plays with balls, try his hands on carom or simply loves solving a puzzle. He moves from one activity and then to another activity. This means that he enjoys learning about diverse things.

Resilient Temperament:

If your kid falls down, and instead of crying or asking for help, he tries to get up by his own. He resumes the ongoing activity, then it’s the great sign of his resilient attitude. Being resilient is an important trait to be a successful athlete. During match, even if you are at lost side, you have to stay focused and find ways to chase and be a game changer. You can’t choose to give up. A professional athlete needs to have out of the box thinking and great power to take calculated risks using great tricks.  A professional athlete needs to possess a sense of fearlessness. If a kid is constantly jumping off the things, then he might be an adventurous baby. A fearless kid might try to climb everything and isn’t afraid they might fall, just like a soccer player who isn’t afraid to make that great pass.

Independent nature:

Independent minds become great athletes. Independence allows an athlete to go out on their own and take own decisions.  A certain level of independence can be great, regardless of who you are or what you do. Independence makes an athlete go out on his own and be positive about the decisions. They don’t need someone to hold their hand and tell them that it’s beneficial to practice. Independence in kids can be great too, and it could be a sign that your baby will grow into an athlete. The sign of independency is when kids easily leave their parents to watch their surroundings and what the world around them holds, rather than being clinged to parent’s lap.

Quick learner

Does your kid quickly understand the puzzle fits or easily understands which block comes after the one or which ring comes first and is followed by the other? However, not being a quick learner is not a sole whole way to conclude that he can never be an athlete. If practice is letting him to be on the right track, then that would also be a great indication that your child can grow into an athlete.
Quick learners can easily judge the proper form for shooting a basketball, or they can analyze how to kick the football or what should be the intensity of shot while golfing. While playing cricket, one can easily assume which shot to be opted for a particular ball
– Clean sweep, forward back, stance, backlift etc.
Along with the factors above, genetic factors like: active parents, genetic broad frames, tall legs, tall stature help shine athletic quality of your child. Moment you confirm about the athletic personality of your child, you must start giving him the right diet, take him often to Sports Complex, develop positive attitude and infuse enthusiasm towards his interest. His extraordinary efforts and your intelligent support will be the key to unlock athletic career of your dear child. So, if you have guessed about your child’s talent correctly, start building the right foundation from now.
